London Executive HQ

London Executive were already occupying the ground floor offices of a large commercial building on Willow Walk in Bermondsey. The company was expanding, and they had been offered the lease of the first floor space. The client contacted me and I was asked to develop an interior design concept for the office areas, the first floor reception and waiting area, the staff tea kitchen and WCs. As the first floor was open plan with no partitions or fittings in existence, this was literally a blank canvas.

I worked closely with the client and through a series of detailed concept drawings arrived at an interior scheme which was taken from the ground floor lobby up and into the first floor offices.

The scope of my services included site visits and surveys, production of existing floorplans and reflected ceiling plans, production of proposed floorplans and reflected ceiling plans, detailed layout proposals for first floor and ground floor WCs, and first floor staff tea kitchen, liaison with lighting designer, design team meetings with client and lighting designer, liaison with structural engineer, production of Specification of Works, door leaf and frame design, production of the door and ironmongery schedule, production of tender package, discussion with tenderers, meeting and liaison with landlord's representatives, and during the construction stage revisions to drawings, Specification of Works and door schedule as and when required, discussion with client and contractor, site visits, submission of full plans building control application and liaison with Building Control.

The project has been completed.
